ALL ABOUT THE FAMILY
Kevin Westcott, President of Family Plumbing, Heating & Air Conditioning, has been around the Plumbing & Heating buisness all his life. A longtime resident of Gaylord and a graduate of Gaylord High School, Kevin worked alongside his father in the heating and cooling business, learning the trade at an early age and continuing to hone his skills over the years until he was ready to go it alone. In October of 1995, Kevin took a leap of faith and opened Family Heating & Cooling Company, working out of his home and doing all of the installation and service work on his own.
One year later, the first employee was hired at Family, and the next year the business moved into a store front in the White Pine Plaza. Within five years Kevin grew the business to include 12 employees and a fleet of six trucks, all operating out of a new building on D&M Drive in Gaylord.
The company continued to grow, and in 2004 Family Heating & Cooling, Inc. merged with Gaylord Plumbing & Heating to become Family Plumbing, Heating & Air Conditioning. Kevin Westcott and Master Plumber Bill Touroo joined forces to offer their customers a wider range of services, along with their promise of high standards and prompt response to the customers needs. Today the company is comprised of 6 installation technicians, 4 service technicians, and 3 office staff all hometown folks here to make your life more comfortable.
Service is #1 at the Family. At the helm of the Service department is Kevins wife, Lisa Westcott. Lisa and her highly trained staff of Service Technicians are ready to handle your Plumbing, Heating and Air Conditioning needs. 24 Hours a day, 365 days a year.
We will quickly and efficiently address all of your comfort concerns, including the installation and service of furnaces, boilers, air conditioners, heat pumps, geothermal systems, humidifiers, and air purification systems. We will tend to your plumbing needs as well, whether youre in need of rough-in or finish plumbing, installation of a water heater, or you just need a leaky pipe fixed. Whatever the circumstances, Family is there for you. Our resources are extensive and our suppliers are many, so that you always get what you want when you want it.
